Work experience
Ink Apparel/ Dye Groovin (co-creator), 2009-2011
-
Dye Groovin/ Ink Apparel, while not involved in field of art, has provided skills in manufacturing of goods to a specific requirement, something that I see as helpful to any future goals relating to areas of illustration, specifically working with clients. This employment also ran tie-dye workshops that provided communal interaction, particularly showing younger aged children how to tie-dye, this communal interaction has given me experience in, and understanding of the importance for artists to interact with wider community.
Skills
-
Bachelor of Fine Arts course so far has provided a broad range of skills in many areas of art making. Within 2D practices I have gained greater skills in traditional and abstract painting as well as drawing and printmaking. 3D practices have provided skills involving machinery such as grinders and welding as well as some knowledge in bronze sculpture
